THE COMPLETE SOMATIC HEALING PROTOCOL FOR OUR TRAUMA

This protocol is built in 4 layers:

Goal: Teach your nervous system that nothing dangerous is happening right now.

Your fear comes from old danger, not current danger.
So we reset the body’s danger signals.

🟣 1. Grounding Pose (3 minutes daily)

Sit or stand with both feet on the floor.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your jaw.
Breathe normally.

After 30 seconds say in your mind:

“Right now, nothing is attacking me.
Right now, I am safe.”

Do this daily.

This builds a safety baseline your childhood never gave you.


🟣 2. Vagus Nerve Unlock (2 minutes)

This calms the fear system.

  • Turn your head left → hold 15 seconds

  • Turn your head right → hold 15 seconds

  • Look down → take 2 deep breaths

  • Look up → exhale slowly

Your body will feel softer after this.


🟣 3. Shake-Off Release (1–2 minutes)

This releases stored panic, tension, and freeze energy.

Just shake your arms, legs, shoulders lightly.

This is how animals discharge trauma.
Humans need it too.


🟣 4. Belly Softening Technique (1 minute)

Your fear sits in your belly from childhood unpredictability.

Put a hand on your stomach.
Inhale gently → let stomach rise
Exhale longer → let stomach soften

Say:

“I don’t need to hold this anymore.”

Your body will instantly calm.


πŸ”· PHASE 2 — BREATH REGULATION RESET (Days 5–15)

Goal: stop survival breath patterns that keep your brain in fear mode.

Your past made your breathing shallow, fast, and tight.
So we reverse it.

🟣 1. The 4–2–6 Breath (5 cycles)

Inhale 4
Hold 2
Exhale 6

Long exhale = turns OFF fight-flight.

Do this twice a day.


🟣 2. The “Threat Off Switch” Breath (if panic hits)

Breathe OUT first → release air
Then take a slow inhale
Then exhale slowly again

Repeat 3 times.

This resets the fear circuit instantly.

This is where you rewrite your internal blueprint.

Now we replace them.

Say slowly:

Before sleeping:

“Today is complete.

I am safe for today.
My body can relax now.”

This teaches your brain that predictability exists.

Imagine yourself:

  • grounded

  • expressive

  • confident

  • free from old trauma
